Sophie was wonderful to work with! She did some major revisions to my wedding gown, both bridesmaids dresses, mother of the bride dress, and the entire groomsmen party. She also extended my veil and added a "Hidden Mickey" in rhinestones on the veil. She made the grooms' pocket squares from scratch using extra turquoise fabric from a bridesmaids dress. She's a master seamstress, very talented!

Going to the beach and my favorite board shorts were coming apart at the seams. Needed them fixed ASAP and no one else could fix them for at least a couple of days. She fixed them in a day and did an excellent job. She triple stitched them where it used to be double. Another thing is that she was the only one the greater me with a smile. Everywhere else I went to acted like it was a hassle to assist me. I will definitely use them again for any of my alteration or sewing needs and even dry cleaning.

Sophie's Alteration has reasonable dry cleaning prices and fast alterations. I'm not sure many people are aware she's there because it's tucked in a plaza off Sheridan.

It's no cheap getting clothes tailored but sometimes you have to! She made alterations to a Top Shop dress I bought to make the shoulder straps fit better but also have it hug my body more (it was a bit of a sack!). The cost was $45 and the dress was ready in a week - I'm happy with the end result!

She has two change rooms, parking, takes credit card. Not much else you could ask for!

I had a winter coat that needed to be saved after a different seamstress cut too much material while shortening the sleeves. Sophie's Alterations did an excellent job in fixing the sleeves by reattaching the material, professionally blending the seams, and streamlining the sleeves to eliminate excess fabric. Fabulous!

Sophie was wonderful to work with! She did some major revisions to my wedding gown, both bridesmaids dresses, mother of the bride dress, and the entire groomsmen party. She also extended my veil and added a "Hidden Mickey" in rhinestones on the veil. She made the grooms' pocket squares from scratch using extra turquoise fabric from a bridesmaids dress. She's a master seamstress, very talented!

A nasty tear in a brand new shirt was fixed on a rush basis and the result looks indistinguishable from new. Excellent job and very friendly service. I live in Seattle but I will take any alterations here when I'm in the area. Highly recommended.

I needed two pants adjusted for length and one them for waist. Sophie did a great Jon with both, was reasonably priced, and they were ready when promised.

I am so thankful that my pants now fit around my waist correctly!
The staff is very nice.
They were also able to clean the dirt off of one of my dress shirt I though was ruined.
If you want to look amazing I highly recommend you take a suit that is too big here, they will make it fit you perfectly. I recommend allowing them at least 3 weeks to alter your clothing because they are very busy.

I needed my wedding dress altered two weeks before my wedding. I was concerned about finding someone to do it in such a short time frame. Sofie's hemmed it for me and altered the sleeves in time. The dress fit perfect. Thank you!

Going to the beach and my favorite board shorts were coming apart at the seams. Needed them fixed ASAP and no one else could fix them for at least a couple of days. She fixed them in a day and did an excellent job. She triple stitched them where it used to be double. Another thing is that she was the only one the greater me with a smile. Everywhere else I went to acted like it was a hassle to assist me. I will definitely use them again for any of my alteration or sewing needs and even dry cleaning.

I purchased an Adrianna Papell dress online and needed alterations in a short time frame (1.5 weeks). I took it to Sophie's Alterations on a Monday and picked it up the following Wednesday. It was ready exactly when promised. Although there was a bit of a language barrier, making it a little challenging to explain exactly how I wanted the dress modified, I am incredibly pleased with how it turned out, and also at a very reasonable price point. I would definitely recommend Sophie's Alteration to anyone!

I used Sophie to do the alterations for my entire wedding party.
She was fantastic.
She fitted the bodice of my beaded dress and hemmed it 4" and also cut off the chapel train as I was getting married in a park in Boulder.
I bought some beautiful lace and she added it to the new hem.
She fitted the bridesmaid dresses perfectly and also my mom's Mother of the Bride dress.
She altered all the grooms and groomsmen suits, including Father of the Bride's outfit.
She made matching pocket squares for their suit jackets.
Finally, she made me a floor length veil and added a crystal bead Hidden Mickey.
It was all wonderful and done ontime.
I couldn't be happier with her service and the care she took with all the details.

Sophie is a very professional business woman, with excellent sewing skills!! She has done my son's Boy Scouts patches perfectly, and she has crafted for me many beautiful colorful banners for my ministry. She also created a wonderful bag to carry my banners in made from beautiful materials and trimming!

I needed a pair of new dress slacks and jeans hemmed. My wife had already pinned the slacks; I guessed by myself the hem length for the jeans (true ASSumption coming from a guy with no sense of style of his own). The seamstress took the initiative to recommend that I try the jeans on and have her gauge for herself. Sure enough, my measurement was way off.

The slacks came out great and the jeans--with the original hem intact--look perfect.

Sophie is an excellent seamstress and businesswoman. She makes custom worship flags for me, as well as sewing my son's Boy Scout merit badges on his sash perfectly! Life saver! I ripped a uniform blazer on a Thursday evening and needed it again Sunday night. I stopped by THREE dry cleaners/repair places in the area. None could help.
